With this idea in mind, a tote bag named abb was born.

A Cordura® version of abb, an everyday tote that makes women shine, has been released.

While retaining its beautiful, easy-to-use form, we have created a tote bag that can be used by both men and women by making it from durable Cordura® fabric.

A Cordura® version of the abb, Kawanishi Kaban's most popular tote bag for women, has been released.

The body is made of durable and beautiful glossy nylon fabric, and the black handle is made of Japanese leather. The uniform black metal fittings add a sense of luxury.

What is Cordura® fabric?

The Cordura fabric used by Kawanishi Kaban is called CORDURA Ballistic, a robust nylon fabric developed by INVISTA, a long-established leader in the nylon industry.

This fabric is lightweight, resistant to abrasion, tearing, and abrasion, and is so strong and reliable that it is even used in bulletproof vests.It is highly water-repellent and boasts high strength that allows it to withstand harsh environments.

Therefore, it is less likely to deteriorate over time, and is recommended for those who want to use it for a long time while keeping it looking nice.

Simple and basic design



The hidden seams create a soft silhouette and a smart design. This simple tote bag can be used in the office or at formal occasions.

Designed with attention to detail, the abb bag is designed to just barely fit A4 size paper horizontally, with a wide gusset of 14cm.

*A4 file size is just enough to fit in landscape orientation.
Therefore, if you put an A4 file in it, the magnet will not close.
The shape of this bag is not suitable for people who frequently need to carry A4 files.


Although this tote bag looks smart, it has a large capacity of 8.4 liters thanks to the gusset width that was determined through repeated trial and error.


We researched and created the optimal balance between ease of carrying and large capacity.

Handle with attention to length

Two types of handles are available to suit your lifestyle .

Handle: Standard

This is the length that looks most beautiful when you hold it in your hand, rest it on your elbow, or take something out of it.

The inside of the bag is also beautiful with a lined pocket

The inside of the bag has three types of pockets in total: one plastic bottle pocket and two hanging pockets to allow for separate items.

The hanging pockets can hold small items such as smartphones and keys. The openings of the pockets are finished with grosgrain tape for durability and design.

The PET bottle pocket, created with the perspective of a female craftsman, is made from the same Cordura® fabric as the main body, achieving a sense of unity, durability, and ease of inserting a PET bottle.

*The location of the Cordura® ballistic nylon tag has been moved to the inside of the bag.

Khaki grey lining for easy visibility

The lining is made of 100% nylon, which is highly elastic and durable, and the back of the fabric is coated with acrylic, giving it a slightly water-repellent function. Even if you put a wet plastic bottle or umbrella inside, the water will not easily seep through to the surface of the fabric.

"Nylon 110 twill" is elastic, wrinkle-resistant, has a beautiful luster, and is just the right thickness for a luxurious feel.

The color is a moderately bright khaki gray, which brightens up the inside of the bag and makes it easy to find small items.

Main fabric: CORDURA Ballistic

The name of the chemical fiber "nylon" started as a product name developed by the American textile company DuPont. Invista is a textile company that became independent from the textile division of DuPont, the creator of nylon.

 

CORDURA nylon is a durable nylon developed by INVISTA, a long-established leader in the nylon industry.

It is lightweight and resistant to abrasion, tearing, and abrasion, and is used in a variety of equipment, from outdoor activities to military supplies.

 

Among the Cordura nylons, "CORDURA Ballistic®" is a strong and reliable fabric that is even used in bulletproof vests.

Lining: Microfiber fabric

The inside is made of soft microfiber fabric so that you can put your computer inside as is.

The color is brown, which matches the color of the main unit and gives a luxurious and high-quality impression.

Lining: Nylon 110 twill

The lining is made of 100% nylon, which is highly elastic and durable, and the back of the fabric is coated with acrylic, giving it a slightly water-repellent function. Even if you put a wet plastic bottle or umbrella inside, the water will not easily seep through to the surface of the backpack.

Water-resistant zipper

The leather pull handle is exceptionally soft and smooth to the touch.

とても良きです

ずっと欲しかったコーデュラアベベをやっと買う事が出来ました。荷物もたっぷり入るし、高級感もある、持ち手も滑らかで持ちやすい（ストラップ売り切れなのが残念）
ただ一つ、コーデュラのタグが目立ちすぎると思います。内側に付けられないものでしょうか？切ってしまいたいんですが、切ると変に取りきれない気がして躊躇してます。

夫の通勤カバンに

夫の通勤カバン(電車通勤)として購入しました。
肩掛けで使用したかったのですが、ショルダーパーツの購入を同時に出来なかったので、自宅にあったもので代用しています。ショルダーパーツの再販を心待ちにしております！

youtubeでカワニシカバンさんを知り、発売を待ってやっと手にする事が出来ました。普段使っている革A4対応の通勤鞄の物、全部収納できました。初めてのナイロン製鞄、コーデュラの艶が上品でカジュアル過ぎないところがとても良かったです。素敵な鞄を作ってくださり、ありがとうございました。

スタンダードとロングを購入しました。
ロングはよく取り出す鍵を付けてバッグの内側に垂らして、スタンダードはバッグの中で探しやすくする為に付けました。
チャームのかわいさを隠して使ってますが、取り出す時にとても気分あがります。

カワニシカバンさんのYouTubeをたまたま見て、面白くて、商品にかける気持ちに惹かれて、商品も気になってました。たまたまリサイクルショップで見つけてアベベ持ち手スタンダードを購入して、思ったよりもポケットが便利で、生地がしっかりしてて立つところが良かったです。半年くらい使用させてもらって、肩掛けにしたかったので、今回アベベの持ち手ロングで再購入させて頂きました。コーデュラと迷いましたが、赤が好きなので帆布の赤にしました。中古と新品の違いが生地の張りが全然違ったこと、持ち手の質感が変わったことで、さらに好みでした。長く使わせてもらおうと思ってます。

なにせ軽い

コーデュラアベベに着けてみたらちょうど良い長さでした。革の装着する部分が前を向く様に捻ってあるのが最高‼️そうなっているのって見た事ないですし、ストレスでした。カラーも色々ありましたがアベベのカーキに合わせてグリーンにしました。他の色も欲しくなっちゃいますね😊

口のボタンが安心感につながる。

巾着形のカバンに興味がありましたが、口が勝手に開かないかが心配でした。でも、このボブは口にボタンがありその心配がかなり少ない。しかも、横から出し入れ可能。
個人的に理想な機能が付いていてとても気に入りました。
初回は買えませんでしたので、再販で買えて良かったです。

ちなみに、先日の旅行はセオウィーとボブ、スーツケースにセオエルを乗せて行き、カワニシカバン達は旅行先でも活躍しました。

What is cash on delivery?
